- The breakfast and menu options were somewhat limited, and the restaurant service was a bit slow. The hotel is situated 10 minutes from the center of Luang Prabang, so we had to call a taxi each time since the shuttle service doesn't run hourly.

The hotel was very busy for Chinese NY and there seemed to be a lack of staff and leadership.Regarding the breakfast options, these seriously need to be reviewed, less is more and focus on quality rather than quantity.My last point is about the cleanliness of some areas, a deep clean should be considered.

A lot of trees with forest and mountain view. The staff was so friendly and helpful eventhough it seemed that there were not too many staff but I got great service. I ordered the hamburger for my dinner and the fish dish for my breakfast. Their food were very good! There is also a very big swimming pool but I did not use it as it was quite cold during my stay so just enjoyed it as a view from my room. Will come back to this hotel next time.

A real luxury resort in french colonial style. Holiday feeling pure. The luxury, cozy, very tastefully decorated room with all amenities you can expect from a luxury location, e.g. balcony with garden view, bath tub, safe, bathrobe, shower with big shower head and really hot water, fridge, water boiler for making tea or coffee, excellent WiFi.The breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot of choices.
The biggest minus (seemingly for other travelers, not for us) is the location a few kilometers away from the touristic core of the town. As we had a rental car it was no problem for us at all. I guess this is the reason why so few travelers seem to choose this hotel (We were almost the only guests, although the hotel can probably accommodate several hundreds of guests). They offer a shuttle service to town but since I haven't used it I cannot say anything about it.A bit of a pity was also that they offered only a minimum of choices (western food only) at the evening restaurant, so that we preferred to have our dinner at town, even in the first evening after being tired after a 9 hours ride on route N13 from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang.
The place is qiet and beautiful, the staff is nice. Big pool nice gardens.
The hotel manager should ask the City to repair the road in front of the hotel.

The place and area it self is amazing. Its like home away from home. So peacfull and all the staff and most specially Mr. Oscar he very accomodating and very helpful. Restaurant is perfect. Swimmingpool so relaxing. Very recomendable.
The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes.The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil.The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax.Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.
The breakfast was a la carte and we were provided with a huge tray which I didn't have the will power to resist.
